Bagobo-Tagabawa Hiyas candidate Leizly May Mendoza said she is proud that Vice President Sara Duterte wore their tribe’s traditional outfit.
She said it is not only representing Bagobo-Tagabawa, but other cultural communities of Davao as well, in a national platform.
“Sacred among traditional clothing. Sana the next time makita ninyo kami, you will not discriminate us,” Mendoza said.
