Filipino screenwriter for film and television Suzette Severo Doctolero reacted to a video made by social media personality Drew Olivar saying that Senator Grace Poe is afraid of former PCOO Asec Mocha Uson because the latter is most likely to be the top one senator this coming elections on 2019.
Doctolero took offense of Olivar’s post, saying that he has become very annoying and has been baseless in his conclusions and accusations. He asks Olivar how could Uson be the top one senator when she has not even cracked the Top 10.
She then goes on to say that she may have defended Uson against sexist remarks but that does not mean that she is fit to become a senator of the country.
In a seemingly desperate tone, Doctolero calls on the people to not vote people who are corrupt, or who have had cases of corruption, or ex actors and actresses who have not proven their worth in legislation, and other people who do not have good intention for their service.
“wag iboto ang alalay lang ng Presidente o si Mocha na wala ding alam. O ang mga dilawan na nagpapanggap na itim, blue at ibang kolor,” Doctolero said.
She says that research must be done, looking into their backgrounds, records of public service, among others.
