US State Department Blueprint to Oust Duterte Leaked by A US Embassy Insider

0

An elaborate blueprint to dislodge the Philippine president, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, has emerged through a local newspaper in the Philippines.

The Oust Duterte blueprint was allegedly written by the former US Ambassador Philip Goldberg, who started the verbal tussle with the then-candidate Duterte when the former issued an unsolicited statement detrimental to the candidacy, a few months ago, of the incumbent president.

If you want to understand how exactly the US State Department is conducting its “regime change” program without the use of ground military invasion against a targeted state, just read on.

The Manila Times reports,

Not only did former United States Ambassador Philip Goldberg leave the Philippines with a legacy of fractured relations between the two countries, he allegedly left behind a “blueprint to undermine Duterte,” a strategic recommendation ostensibly to the State Department for the ultimate removal of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte from office, according to a highly placed source. It is not clear, however, if the State Department in Washington DC had given its imprimatur to the recommendation by its former ambassador to the Philippines.

A document received over the weekend by The Manila Times from that source said Goldberg had outlined a list of “strategies” to undermine President Duterte and called for his eventual ouster. The blueprint gave a timetable of one-and-a-half years.

Quoting Goldberg, it said the “political actors (the opposition) would need all the political weapons in their arsenal to replace the Duterte administration and replace it with something more to the opposition’s liking.” He noted, however, “that (deposing Duterte) would be a challenge for the opposition.”

Analyzing the President’s weakness, Goldberg said that Mr. Duterte “has no real friends” outside of his region for his propensity to mock and ridicule people close to him. He also said that the President’s “views are shaped not by ideology or personal ambitions, but by old-fashioned nationalism where he holds the United States accountable for the Philippines’ current state of poverty and dependency.”

To bring down Duterte, the Goldberg plan calls for stoking public dissatisfaction with the President over unfulfilled election promises, isolating the Philippines from the rest of the ASEAN by extending military assistance to member countries except the Philippines, and/or through economic “blackmail” that aims to limit trade by some ASEAN member countries with the Philippines.

Goldberg also encourages support for the opposition through aids and grants, sowing discontent among the Duterte supporters and cultivating the cleavage between the congressmen and the senators over the Charter Change issue.

In brief, the plan calls on the US government to employ a combination of socio-economic-political-diplomatic moves against Duterte “to bring him to his knees and eventually remove him from office.”

The paper outlined the Ambassador’s “strategies to be employed” such as:

  • Political and economic isolation of the Philippines in the region by engaging the leaders of Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos and by “highlighting the basic question of the risk of doing business in the Philippines.”
  • Enhanced US military relationship with members of the Asean community except the Philippines.
  • Blackmail neighboring countries so they would turn against Duterte by reducing trade with the Philippines in favor of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
  • Deepen ties with Philippine officials (the opposition), the police/military and leaders in the region who share the US concerns over Duterte.
  • Track corruption cases and highlight the failures of Duterte.
  • “Focus on the needs of the people at the grassroots and assist the opposition groups in delivering those failed promises through USAID – such as alleviation of poverty, housing and education – to name a few.”
  • Utilize the media to expose the truth about Duterte – “his false vision for the Filipino people and his dangerous international relationships with China and Russia.”

Goldberg also recommends, “change the political landscape by dividing the core leadership of Duterte” by “sowing discontent among (his) partymates.” He observed that some of the President’s allies are privately becoming concerned over his shift in foreign policy and the twist in the character of his economic and social agenda that veers closely toward the Left.

The former US Ambassador underscores the need to stoke the fire between the “defenders of the rule of law and Duterte’s Leftist group” by highlighting the demands of the Left to free all political prisoners in the country even before a formal peace agreement could be signed between the government and the CPP/NDF/NPA, and an end to US military presence in the Philippines.

It is not clear from what the source said how Goldberg would go about weakening the Philippine currency, but it states that such a scenario would lead to inflation (and would raise prices of food and other commodities). (Author’s note: He was wrong, though, in predicting that a weak peso would make our agriculture less competitive. On the contrary, a weak peso would help strengthen our exports and make our products more competitive in the global market.)

The paper also quoted Goldberg’s recommendation to “capitalize on a possible stalemate” as a possible course of action if and when the Lower House marginalizes the Senate on the voting on Charter Change. The Lower House has already publicly declared that both the House and the Senate should vote as one and not separately, as espoused by the Senators. Voting as one would, as some senators say, disenfranchise them given the sheer number of the congressmen – 240 representatives versus 24 Senators.

There will be fallout as a result of the Charter Change stalemate. Many legislators will break away from the administration as a consequence, Goldberg predicts.

In his observation, the US former envoy to the Philippines said that while President Duterte has been successful in earning the support of the people for his campaign against drugs, his political and economic program has failed to deliver the desired results. The US government, he said, should try “to understand how Duterte thinks” and what his next moves would be.

“With growing concern about the country’s security situation and economic discontent, the pressure is on Duterte to deliver concrete results,” the paper wrote, quoting Goldberg. “In this increasingly sensitive environment – a country susceptible to favor political disruption, our approach must be measured. Opposition actors across the political spectrum look at us (US) for cues, and our (US) influence is much greater than our footprint.”

Goldberg also advises “restraint in expressing public support for former President Fidel Valdez Ramos and Vice President Leni Robredo, as well as other opposition leaders “so as not to alarm the Duterte administration of an impending “destabilization or a coup.” He admits, however, that the “operation (coup) is obscured with difficulties.”

Two other options were presented by Goldberg, according to the paper: The rift among the Duterte supporters should be exploited, or assist the “Robredo-led opposition groups (to include the Catholic Church and other religious groups, business sectors, civil society groups and the youth) in addressing the international community regarding the shift in foreign policy issue, restoration of democracy and the protection of human rights through constitutional means.”

Goldberg predicts a worsening of the US-Philippine relations, more so on the issue of the US military presence in the Philippines, more particularly during the last two years of the Duterte administration.

The paper also wrote that the former US ambassador to the Philippines wanted to “know the views of Sen. Bongbong Marcos on a variety of issues such as: the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA), China, Human Rights and the US-PH relations.”

Now, you understand how the United States has been scheming the political and economic affairs of the Philippine citizenry for the last 113 years.

So, who exactly leaked Goldberg’s anti-Duterte plot to the mainstream media?

“There is really no extreme urgency to speak of, as the trial courts have set the DOJ’s motion for alias warrant of arrest and HDO for hearing, thereby giving Sen. Trillanes an opportunity to be heard.”

“This is going to get the whole opposition camp crazy. Trillanes amnesty revoked by Duterte for senator’s failure to comply with requirements,” journalist Ira Panganiban wrote on Facebook.

In a Presidential Proclamation issued today, September 4, 2018, President Duterte has revoked the amnesty granted to Antonio Trillanes by BS Panot Aquino due to noncompliance of the requirements of the amnesty.

In an immediate comment about the release of the Proclamation, prominent social media influencer Trixie Cruz-Angeles recounted that Trillanes’ amnesty has lots of loopholes.

Going back in time, Aquino’s incompetence was actually manifested even in granting Trillanes amnesty. This was explicitly tackled in a column in Manila Times.

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, the fiercest critic of the Duterte administration is facing a big trouble as the Palace revokes the amnesty given to him.

The news was confirmed by Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Menardo Gueverra.

According to proclamation no. 572, President Rodrigo Duterte has declared the amnesty of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV given to him by former President Benigno Aquino III void from the start.

Ama na hindi nagbibigay ng sustento o supporta sa anak, pweding ikulong sa kasong Child Abuse

0

We all know that life is not perfect, and sometimes the marriage or relationships that we imagined to be all romantic and successful also falls apart. This kind of separation between a mother and father do not just affect the couple but also the children who will eventually turn as victims when one of their parents forget their responsibilities of providing the necessary support.

The lack of financial support from parents normally happens since most young parents are unaware of their rights to legally demand a child support, in fact, failure to provide child support is already a crime, thanks to our lawmakers who secured this kind of ruling beneficial for single parents and children neglected by their parents.

Under the Republic Act 193 to 222 of the Family Code, a child support includes “everything indispensable for sustenance, dwelling, clothing, medical attendance, education and transportation”.

The law also regulated that the amount of child support will depend on the needs of the recipient as well as the resources of the parent. This means that the amount will not be fixed and constantly subject to modification.

A parent’s failure or refusal to provide financial support is punishable by law under the Republic Act 9262 also known as the Violence Against Women and Children Act (VAWC).

How Can Single Parents Claim Child Support in the Philippines?
If you need to claim child support, here are some important things to remember:

Even if the Parents Are No Longer Together, Children Are Still Entitled to Child Support

What this means is that a father cannot simply shirk away from his responsibility to his child. It also applies regardless of whether or not the parents were married.

This means that if a man gets a woman pregnant, and then leaves the woman and his child, the woman can legally demand for support.

You Can Legally Demand Child Support for Your Child

If for any reason, your child isn’t receiving the support that they need, you can legally demand for child support.

You can go about this by opting to seek legal assistance either from a lawyer, which can entail huge legal fees. Or you could take advantage of government agencies such as PAO (Public Attorney’s Office), the DOJ (Department of Justice) as well as from DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development)

Once you file a case, a protection order for your children will be issued. This means that the children will be required to stay with the mother during the duration of the case.

The case will be filed in the RTC (Regional Trial Court) which also serves as the Family Court.

What Documents Do You Need?
If you’re trying to claim child support, make sure to have the following documents ready in order to make the process much easier:

PSA birth certificate/s of your child, or children.
PSA marriage certificate if you were married.
So if you are a single mom or single dad at the moment and your former partner refuses to provide support for their own flesh and blood, then do not hesitate to seek legal assistance to know your children’s rights whether they are legitimate or not.

THE BRITISH. In 1762, the British Royal Armies came to Manila with the purpose of defeating the abusive Spanish armies. Finally, in 1764 the British won over the Spaniards. The British Royal Government then issued a Royal Decree, Protocol 01-4 based on the Laws of the West Indies, amending the property rights of King Philip of Spain over the Philippines and granting ownership of the Philippine archipelago to the Tagean Tallano clans. After the signing of the peace accord between the royal governments of Spain and Britain, the Queen of Spain recognized the property rights over the Philippine archipelago based on the Maura Law.

TORRENS TITLE. With the American administration in the Philippines, the ownership of the TALLANO CLANS was strengthened further by the passage of Act No. 496 which gave rise to the TORRENS TITLE. Land registration proceedings based on the said law were undertaken which affirmed the ownership and title of the Tallano Clans over the Philippine archipelago on October 3, 1904 as Original Certificate of Title (OCT) 01-4.

Philippines, once known as the “Maharlika Kingdom,” was once the wealthiest country in the world

Philippines is on a downfall since then, and if you wonder is the Philippines really rich during those time, here are some facts that might prove it is indeed true.

President Ferdinand Marcos and his accomplishments:

Richest in Asia, second to Japan
First country to have an Airport in South East Asia
First country in Asia to have a Train
Number 1 in the world in Rice and Sugar exporting
There are no illegal drugs, you can’t even drink and get drunk on the streets
There are only a few OFW’s because the government is self sufficient with jobs
Foreigners can’t own a land property
Peso to US dollar, $1=P1.50
The only President that doesn’t use written speech
Only President who defends himself on the court without the use of an attorney
Only President who is a world war II veteran
He also made some accomplished projects without promising it to the Filipino people

Manila International Airport (Now NAIA)
LRT-1, a first in southeast Asia
Heart Center of the Philippines
Nayong Pilipino
Kidney Center
Bataan Nuclear Power Plant
PICC
Philippine Lung Center
Golden Mosque for Muslim
Folk Arts Theater
SLEX and NLEX, a first in southeast Asia
San Juanico Bridge
These accomplishments are still being used by the Presidents who followed. But sad to say some of these projects are forgotten, if used wisely it could benefit the Philippines.

Here’s a view from a Filipino :

“I was born in the year 1986, the year where Martial law has ended, but my young age doesn’t restrict me from knowing the truth from the past. I watched and read documentaries from freelance journalist on Martial law and compare them to the one I see on National TV. I even ask old people what is was like during those time.

I remember one day, I asked my aunt what was their lives during the Marcos era, is it hard? do soldiers grab people and put to jail without reason? I asked the questions related to the abuse by the Marcos government based on what I see on national TV. But she replied, No, there were no abuses on their province. She remembered very well that there are parts on each city that there is a feeding program everyday, we call it “bulgur”, a rice based soup packed with vitamins and minerals. It was said to be implemented because the President wanted the next generation to be not malnourished and smart. But sad to say, there are no feeding programs like that today.

I also experienced a bit of the “Marcos touch”, remembered it very well when I was about 4 years old, a former crony of Marcos was the Mayor of my hometown. And it was beautiful compared today, our small town has a huge swimming pool in front of the capitol hall with dolphins in there where you can feed them as you like, across the pool is a mini Disneyland where kids can really enjoy and have a good time. But since the end of the Marcos power and so is the end of our beautiful town, corruption is now trending. Our once beautiful pool is now a place for prostitutes, snatchers, and rugby boys. I don’t know what really happened, time has changed so fast.

February the month of celebration for most Filipinos, aside from valentines day we celebrate the 1986 EDSA revolution which ousted former President Ferdinant Marcos. On the 25th of February Aquino loyalists party on EDSA showcasing variety shows, sing and dance, to commemorate the anniversary which they call “People Power”.

For over 26 years the Filipino people has been told that the EDSA people power was a symbol of unity and true democracy, and ousting a former dictator could free this country and bring peace to the whole nation.

When I was a little kid I have watched a 5 hour documentary film about the Marcos era, Martial law and People Power. I was very interested what happened on the year where I was born. The documentary was great, it almost answers all of my questions about what happened in the past, but I was just a kid that time, I didn’t understand some of the facts, and since then that documentary hasn’t been shown in years.

Curiosity leads me in searching what really happened back then, and I want answers to these questions; why is Ninoy Aquino a hero? Why they claimed Cory the mother of democracy? Why did they killed Ninoy? Why did the church interfere with politics? and after 26 years why did a once wealthy nation become one of the poorest in Asia?

Oligarchy in the making

Years has passed and Filipinos are still stuck in this hero thing euphoria, where Cory the heroine and Ninoy the hero, that is why the people voted on their son Noynoy. After Marcos has been ousted the constitution has been revised, which I believe favors the rich and powerful families. If you look at it today, the poor are defenseless and the rich are shielded by the law.

Four years after Marcos was ousted, Cory’s administration was highly criticized for its failure to deliver on the much-needed economic reforms and was plagued by allegations of corruption involving Cory’s wealthy and influential relatives – the same allegations they used to topple Marcos in the first place.

The People who supported the revolution like, Fidel Ramos, JP Enrile, the Church, Cardinal Sin, the Lopez, Zobel, Gozon, Pangilinan family and many more, has now absolute power in the Philippines, mostly in business and politics and even showbiz.
These said personalities are even more powerful today. A very big thanks to Cory Aquino, by selling some of the government owned business like NAIA ( formerly known as Manila International Airport, it was changed after Ninoy was killed), Petron, PLDT, Maynilad, Meralco to those who helped them.

The sad thing about who wins, is that they are the one’s dictating history. In text books, on TV, and even on Yahoo. The Yellow ribbon army are controlling everything. They tell how evil Ferdinand Marcos is and people power is good for the country.

But for me how can Marcos be evil, he is a world war II hero, he achieved so many even if all the Presidents combined, the Peso almost out-worth the US dollar, the Philippines is second richest behind Japan in Asia. No political dynasty even Marcos was a President, none of his family members was a politician only him, the security is very good, rebels and separatists groups feared the government, and justice is always served none of the people from the supreme court can be bribed, in short corruption is almost zero, except for the President himself. In my Opinion, who cares… even if he stole millions it doesn’t matter as long as your country is also rich I don’t give a shit about it.

Why did they say Ninoy Aquino is a hero?

Ninoy Aquino was a senator who opposes Marcos, he was accused of Treason and was sentenced to death penalty, but because of the President it was never carried out, Aquino and Marcos are good friends in their fraternity. And Marcos was the one who let Aquino escape the Philippines to the US.

After 3 years he came back and wanted to talk to Marcos, but there is a death plot against him, he knows, but still he insist on going home. He was killed, the President was accused of killing the senator, now the whole country sympathizes the Aquino family and the President lost control.

Now where is the hero in that. A guy who is accused of treason, a communist supporter, opposes the President most of his political career and has no achievement as a senator is now a hero. What he did wasn’t heroic, he was just assassinated and the people accused the wrong person.

Even up today there is no proof that Marcos was behind the killing of Ninoy, but the killer who is now got a parole admits and accused, Ninoy Aquino’s brother in law Danding Cojuangco, brother of the late Cory Cojuangco Aquino and the media doesn’t seems to be interested on this issue.

Why they say Cory lead the People Power revolution

Actually Cory was just a plain house wife! she has no political background and is under qualified to lead a nation. Everything about her was exaggerated, the Cory magic, the Mother of democracy, and they even want Cory to be saint.

When Mrs Aquino became President the country has no direction at all. Debts rises, kudetas, human rights violation is rampant, the rise of Communist rebels, the country is in jeopardy of a downfall. Its like a company that is bankrupt

Why did the church interfere with politics

For me it is simple, they want power. During the Marcos time, the church was indeed true to their teachings and will never enter the dirty world of politics.

But time has changed, Cardinal Sin ordered the masses to rebel against the dictator on a local radio station. A Catholic country like the Philippines can be easily controlled by the church, its like the pied piper is the cardinal and the mouse was the Filipino people.

Aftermath

Look at the Philippines now, it is still kinda peaceful, but it is very far from the Philippines before the Aquinos took over.

Corruption is still very rampant, Political dynasty is the new trend to get rich. Prices are on all time high, too many unemployed, too many hungry and has no home. Education and health are not for everyone, and ignorance is still getting worse.

After 26 years we are still back where we started, we are still being lead by the person who has the same blood who took this country to a downfall. The same family that takes the Philippines into a back ward civilization

There is a saying a Filipino is worth dying for, but the question is what are they fighting for?

If he has none, and his intentions are not for his people and not for his country, I rather let him die or even shoot him myself.”

Duterte the popular president loved by majority of the Filipinos

He proved competent being Mayor of Davao and being the leader who spearheaded the development of Davao City. For a provincial city, it is even better than Metro Manila itself as some claim due to the cleaniness. Not to mention, law and order is strictly imposed.

He is a no bulls**t person. Either you work for him for the greater good or get out. If he sees you as incompetent, you’re fired. If he can’t forcefully evict you or you’re a foreign leader, you can enjoy his foul language instead.

He means what he claims. Unlike his predecessors, Dut
