Gordon

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has finalized the plunder complaint against Senator Richard Gordon and would be filing it with the Office of the Ombudsman on Wednesday morning.

During the Kapihan sa Senado on Tuesday, Trillanes said that the plunder complaint involved alleged anomalies involving Gordon as chairman of the Philippine Red Cross.

He said that Gordon had supposedly allocated his pork barrel funds to the Philippine Red Cross.

“I will be filing the case tomorrow, plunder, against Senator Gordon, tomorrow morning ‘yan. This is in relation doon sa pag-plunder niya nung pondo ng gobyerno na pina-allocate niya sa Red Cross,” he said.

“Ginamit niya and Red Cross para sa sariling interest,” he added.

In September, Trillanes had already said he would file a plunder case as well as an ethics complaint against Gordon.

“It’s more than the P50-million threshold so nandoon bukas nakalagay yung mga attachments, mga documentary evidence,” he said.

“Nung Senador siya nung first term niya nag-allocate siya ng pondo sa Red Cross habang chairman siya, bawal ‘yun parang Napoles scam ‘yon,” he added. “Kung titingnan mo walang problema, kaso siya ang chairman, siya ang nagdidisburse ng pondo.”

‘Probe PRC funds too’

Trillanes said he would also submit a letter to the Commission on Audit to start an investigation on the funds of Philippine Red Cross.

Also, he said he would be submitting a letter to the International Federation of the Red Cross for the conduct of an independent audit.

“Once na na-file ko na ‘yan at pagbukas natin ng session, ito na ngayon ang ilalabas ko sa mga colleagues ko sa Senado na we have a chairman ng blue ribbon committee to investigate the acts of corruption pero siya mismo may plunder at kung ano ano pa na anomalous na ginawa,” Trillanes said.

“Kahiyaan na ito, kumbaga as a matter of delicadez which I don’t expect also from Senator Gordon,” he added.

Unfazed by Trillanes’ threat, Gordon has earlier said he was read to answer allegations to be hurled against him over his role at the Red Cross.

Gordon maintained he does not get paid for his work at the Red Cross.

Davao Archbishop Calls To Inspire The Police And Not Condemn Them For Carrying Out The War On Drugs

In the light of the catholic church meddling with the government’s mandate to battle the war on drugs, Bishop Soc Villegas even conducted a mass for the Lord, Heal our Land rally in EDSA on November 5,2017; it is a welcome relief to hear another priest say that it is not right to condemn the policemen.

Davao City Archbishop Romulo Valles said that the government police should not only condemn for following the anti-drug war but the public should also “inspire” them to do what needs to be done as per their job description according to the rule of law.

“We will not forget the killings. That is terrible. But one side of it is we will inspire the police to do their jobs according to the book,”

He also said we should push the police to do better and not condemn them for what they are doing.

“Push, inspire not condemn [the] police so they will do better in their police work,”

This is what the priest said in the mass that was offered in observance of the National Children’s Month that has a theme of “Bata Iligtas sa Droga.”

This statement was said the same day as Bishop Socrates Villegas conducted the mass “Lord Heal Our Land” at the EDSA Shrine in Quezon City.

Valles said between the proliferation of drugs and the issue of extrajudicial killings in the country, drug use comes primary when it comes to killing people.“I think we have to first address the problem of drugs. Drug kills, not only EJK. Parang number two na na (That comes in second),”

He also said that he is saddened by the count of the killings.

“It’s very sad to have the count of killings, I’m worried about it but I also wish you do calculations how many lives were destroyed by drugs, how many were killed by drugs, how many families were destroyed by drugs?”

Valles also said that the country never knew how much of a problem illegal drugs was until President Rodrigo Duterte became president.

The event was attended by some opposition, among of them were Franklin Drilon, Sen. Bam Aquino, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, Magdalao Rep. Gary Alejano, and former presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda.

Meanwhile, the released statement of Fr. Villegas made the vocal Duterte supporters, Krizette Laureta Chu expressed her outraged towards the priest.

That was the Chu rage was coming from. She cussed Villegas and said back,” Leche. IKAW ang sumpa.”

Chu referred Villegas as ‘Padre Damaso’, accused the priest that he’s the main reason why some churchgoers are hesitant or chose not to attend the mass anymore. Chu claimed that Villegas is the true curse.

Chu accused Villegas and other bishops that they are  “Corrupt, Kunsintidor, Sipsip, Nagbubulag Bulagan, Nagbibingi Bingihan, at SAKIM ang karamihan sa inyo.”

All throughout to Chu’s post, is her sentiments how she was dismayed and frustrated towards some priest for being greedy to power and money.

Chu said Villegas turned a blind eye of his sin and become a divisive individual.

“You use Catholicism to further divide this country. You are the antithesis of Jesus Christ,” Krizette said.

“Soc Villegas, YOU ARE A VERY BAD, INEFFECTIVE PRIEST. I hope God fires you ASAP,” she added.

MAKA SUMPA NAMAN TONG VILLEGAS.
Villegas at the Heal our Land, Line our Pockets, Fatten our Wallets rally earlier today:
“Kapag hindi natin tinigil ang patayan, may sumpang parusa ang bayang pumapatay sa sariling kababayan.”
You mean, mas malala pa sa sumpa na pinagdaanan namin dati?
Pesteng Villegas to.
Leche. IKAW ang sumpa.
You led your people astray.
You chose to politicize rather than bring peace.
You chose to condemn rather be inclusive.
And yet you turn a blind eye towards the sins of your own, and you allow yourself to be a divisive figure. You use Catholicism to further divide this country. You are the antithesis of Jesus Christ.
Soc Villegas, YOU ARE A VERY BAD, INEFFECTIVE PRIEST. I hope God fires you ASAP

Krizette’s post was already garnered 909 Shares and 5,000 likes as of posting.

Part of the contributions you give every Sunday goes to settle SEXUAL HARASSMENT cases of priests. Leche”

Followers of hu also shared their thought to it and agreed to her statement over the church. Read some of the comments below.

Janice Juezan Lao i pray to my God, i fervently pray the rosary everyday, but i hardly go to church. my heart boils over the robed hypocrites of my God’s house.

Krizette, I don’t like Archbishop Villegas and I agree when u say its sad that he chooses to politicize than bring peace. But dont we think he continues to have the right to speak his mind? The best way to respond to him is silence. He will no longer be CBCP president next month and the incoming one is the archbishop of Davao.

Part of the gospel today:
“Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples,
saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees have taken their seat on the chair of Moses.
Therefore, do and observe all things whatsoever they tell you, but do not follow their example. For they preach but they do not practice.”
-isn’t ironic? Don’t you think?

Hontiveros may Hamon kay Duterte: “Ipakulong Mo Na Kami Lahat, Kung Kaya Mo!”

Senator Risa Hontiveros was outraged over drug dealer’s claim Ricky Serrenio, that parymates Senator Frank Drilon and former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, were connected to Melvin Odicta, a former drug lord killed by Police earlier.

Speaking in front of supporters just outside her house on Wednesday, Honriveros lambasted President Rodrigo Duterte’s government and challenged the President to put all Liberal party members in prison if he has the balls to do it.

“Kung may bayag siya, kung gusto niya, ipakulong na niya kami lahat para matapos na ang kanyang paghihirap”, the senator said referring to president Duterte.

The Liberal Party slammed the drug allegations against its stalwarts, former LP presidential bet Manuel Roxas II and Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, as part of the Duterte administration’s plan to demonize its key members and to divert attention from the issues hounding the government.

This latest drug allegation against prominent members of Partido Liberal clearly proves that this administration is going all-out to demonize the party in the eyes of the public and to divert attention from the pressing problems of the country, such as rising prices, extrajudicial killings, and corruption, including drug smuggling at the Bureau of Customs the party said in a statement on Thursday, October 26.

Instead of swallowing the words of the so-called bagman and wasting time on this new controversy, the administration can better use its time investigating and finding the culprits behind the entry of P6.4 billion worth of shabu that has slipped past the scrutiny of Customs officials, it added.

The senator also downplayed Duterte’s earlier comment on Iloilo City mayor Jed Mabilog, saying “Mabilog is next”. Hontiveros said Duterte is fond of scaring people without evidence.

Panoorin: Footage Ng Nov. 5 EDSA Rally Nilangaw! Ayaw Ipakita Ng Media!

On Friday, the Philippine flag bearer airline offered Duterte free ride from Manila to Davao City and vice versa, together with any three of his personal body guards until he finish his term on 2022.

She also added that Tan preferred to hold the money than giving it away to the previous government, as he feared that top government officials may only feast on the tax money.

“He have so much trust on President Duterte that the money will be spent by the government wisely”, De Casrtro said.

The free ride offer is limited only to the specified route and not cover domestic travels by the president to other provinces outside Metro Manila.

There was no detail if the president accepted the offer, but there is a big possibility that he will enjoy the ride so the government can save more on his personal travel expenses whenever he go home to Davao.

Although Duterte has not yet formally accepted the offer, Malacañang officials thanked Tan for his generosity.
