Sports Car Owned By CBCP Crashes In Front Of Mosque

A sports car belong to the Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), was crashed after hitting the barrier along Mindanao Ave., just in front of Blue Mosque in Taguig on Thursday morning.

Rescuers brought the driver and two women who suffered non-life threatening injuries to Taguig-Pateros District Hospital.

According to the driver 28 years old Miguel Cañete, he was driving along Mindanao Ave when a running man suddenly crossed the street prompting him to swerve and hitting the right barrier on the process.

Authorities however believed Cañete was drunk according to medical report and came from a bar in Roxas Boulevard. He later admitted that he was in his way to a motel to do a threesome with both ladies he ordered from Manila Courtesan.

Taguig Police later found out that the 7-million peso 2016 Nissan GT-R was registered to CBCP and Cañete is nephew of one of CBCP’s top Archbishops whom police refused to name for privacy protection.

Cañete is facing multiple charges including reckless driving and driving under influence. He suffered broken nose and some minor injuries, while the two women who appeared shocked were discharged early.

CBCP has not yet issued any comment regarding the matter. The 7-million peso car is currently impounded at Taguig City Police.

As a response to Mariel’s snide comment, presidential daughter and Davao Mayor Inday Sara Duterte posted a photo of her in a swimsuit saying that she has nothing to be insecure about at Mariel.

Nase-schadenfreude kami, insecure at unhappy agad, di ba pwedeng tulad mo ay sadyang maldita lang talaga kami. Ano ika-insecure sa talo mo?

Inday Sara also mentioned that she chose to take up law and she passed the bar exam with one try. She insultingly asked Mariel, how many times she would lose before finally winning.

She also mentioned that Mariel is also not slim, so she is not above Inday Sara in that aspect, too.

At take note, pareho tayo mataba, wala ka lamang jan. Juicekow.

Lastly, she hinted about the incident that she was talking about that got Mariel defensive.

Di kami insecure at unhappy, that’s your freudian slip about your schadenfreude moments. Nase-schadenfreude lang kami kasi we are born pala-away, lalo na kapag inuunahan kami. Nakita mo yung kadami ng camera sa SMX, lahat yun recording with your comments and you making faces 👻👻👻 Lols. 📸 gladysss

Uson, in a statement, said she was unaware that Alvarez, who she said had long invited her to run for Senator, would announce her senatorial bid.

A media personality bares the truth behind Canadian garbage in exchange of Canadian job for Filipinos

When Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in Manila from Sunday, November 12 to Tuesday November 14 for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit, he captured everyone’s attention because of his good looks and his arrival in Manila getting into a food chain mingling with Filipinos.

Yes, his charm captured the hearts of many Filipinos but remember the containers full of garbage that was found in port of Manila few years back?

The 54-year-old politician blew into town like a public relations house on fire like a movie star but has also lost his charm when among leaders who came to visit the Philippines to join the 50th founding anniversary of the ASEAN , which the Philippines is the host and he dared to raise the issue of human rights to President Duterte.

In 2015, when Trudeau was in Manila to attend the APEC Economic Leader’s Meeting, the dumping of Canadian trash in the Philippines was not discussed in the bilateral meeting between President Benigno Aquino III and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Instead of the garbage issue, the bilateral meeting focused on the relations of Canada and the Philippines.

And now, in 2017, he could only say that the garbage can only be “theoretically” returned, but still wouldn’t because of legal issues.

This is despite calls of environmentalists for the Western country to finally take back its garbage, Trudeau still did not commit to do it.

And now, the real issue came in. Remember in social media and on Canadian agencies, there was a time that jobs in Canada is in demand?

Jojo Robles, columnist for Manila Standard Today and RCM’s Opinion Writer of the Year revealed that the reason behind the Aquino administration has taken for granted the garbage from Canada is for the reason of giving job to the Filipinos.

Here is the post written at Jojo Robles social media account:

MORE GARBAGE: The Noynoy government promised to keep quiet on the Canadian garbage issue in exchange for giving 500 jobs to Filipino nurses in Canada.

It’s true: the deal was 106 container vans of trash for 500 nurse positions.

And the Department of Foreign Affairs shut down the House investigation being conducted at the time, upon the direct orders of Aquino.

Questions:

1. Is the garbage-for-nurses deal the reason why Justin Trudeau said there were “legal problems” with repatriating the trash to Canada?

2. Who is behind Chronix, the importer of the Canadian garbage? Is it true that the principals are close to the Aquino administration?

3. Why was a portion of the trash buried in Tarlac, of all places? Is it true that all of it would have been buried there, in Aquino’s home province, if the Tarlac provincial government didn’t protest?

4. Is it true that the garbage is now in Subic, after it was brought there when Tarlac province refused it?

Start the investigation of this smelly deal now. I promise it will lead to a guy who just posted bail.

Diana Figueroa, president of the Coalition of Concerned Citizens of Bamban, said the disposal was “kept a secret.”  Canadian trash ends up in President’s backyard.

Gabriela want probe into use of ‘sonic’ weapon in anti-Trump rally

1

Representatives of the Gabriela Women’s Party (GWP) will file a House resolution next week seeking an investigation into the use of a “sonic” weapon to control anti-Trump protesters in Manila on Monday.

In a statement on Tuesday, GWP Representatives Emmi De Jesus and Arlene Brosas slammed the Philippine National Police (PNP) for using the Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) to ward off protesters, saying that its deployment constitutes a new level of state violence with an intent to harm the demonstrators.

“The latest anti-people weapon of the PNP must be probed and opposed.

Brosas said reports state that the use of the sonic weapon can have a number of effects on the human body, such as hearing trauma, permanent hearing loss and lingering headaches.

Meanwhile, De Jesus said the use of the sonic weapon only further shows the desperation of the Duterte administration to control the anger of the masses over his failed economic policies.

“PNP’s use of the sonic weapon brings the Duterte regime’s violence to a whole new level, and highlights the country’s puppetry, with LRAD manufactured in America for the defense of US President Trump, the most notorious face of sexism and militarism right now,” she said.

“It is a desperate attempt to drown the legitimate calls of women and the people for the pullout of US troops and junking of one-sided trade and military agreements.

National Capital Region Police Office chief Director Oscar Albayalde, however, said the sonic weapon was only used for “extreme circumstances.”

—KG, GMA News

President Duterte is the Last Man Standing – Matt Damon (American Actor)

“I think the Philippine President is doing what his people asked him to do during the campaign period. With a very high approval rating, American people should stop meddling in this man’s own business. We have crisis in America and yet people here are still talking about the Philippines.” ayon sa aktor na sinang-ayonan naman ng kanyang dalawang kasamahan.

“I think the problem in Asia, especially in the Philippines is relocating to US now. Pres. Duterte has made a pretty good case there against drug dealers. I think he is the last man standing in front of these drugdealers,” ayon kay Damon.

Siya rin ay kilala bilang ‘sexiest men of the year,’ na iginawad ng People’s Magazine noong Nobyembre, 2007.

During the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit, a breach of peace, disobedience, assault and resistance to authorities was committed when a group of protesters rallied towards United States embassy in Manila.

The Manila Police District (MPD) released a statement that on November 14, 2017, Tuesday, the Philippine National Police units filed cases against the protesters.

Among the ones that are complained are Teddy Casino of Bayan Muna, Renato Reyes the Bayan secretary general and a protester named Neil Legaspi.

The cases filed against these individuals are breach of peace, illegal public assembly, disobedience, and assault upon an agent of authority.

The rallyists attempted to breach the police line while the ASEAN is being held. A lot of people were hurt because of the said protest.

According to MPD spokesperson Superintendent Erwin Margalejo, Reyes and Casino were the ones who started the rally protest. They were trying to penetrate the police security so they can go straight to United States President Donald Trump.

Joint Task Group Peace and Order (JTG PO) representative Police Superintendent Ronald Hipolito said that when the protesters couldn’t penetrate the police line, that’s when they started to throw stones.

No’ng ‘di nila ma-penetrate nambato na po sila (When they could not penetrate the police barricade, they threw stones). So, of course, nasasaktan na rin ‘yung mga pulis natin (our police were getting hurt) in spite of us exercising maximum tolerance,”

Legaspi on the other hand was caught in the act of throwing stones at the police. He was arrested last Sunday riding a van with placards and paraphernalia.

Hipolito also added that the cops were mostly injured by the stones. Their equipment, shields and helmets were also damaged by the rallyists.
